When aliens jettison an interstellar space pod in 1959 it crashes to Earth and infects an unsuspecting human in a most sinister manner, establishing a macabre baseline of monster mayhem.

25 years later, the cryogenically frozen subject remains part of a college study. But when students Chris Romero (Jason Lively, European Vacation) and J.C. Hooper (Steve Marshall) release it on a fraternity dare, the infected subject not only defrosts to wreak havoc once again but turns the small town upside down. Bugs, slugs, slithering creatures of all manner and malevolence infiltrate the community in the name of disarray, hell-bent on transforming it into a zombie playground where the living dead rule.
